Marseille Blue/Green Quilted Tote

This quilted organic cotton shopping tote is hand-printed using the ancient blockprint technique in Jaipur, India. Its soft fabric, size and inside pocket make it ideal for all your grocery runs and errands. The tote measures 30 x 45 cm.

The workshop Table collaborates with has been using this technique for four generations and is Sedex-certified, a label guaranteeing social and ecological commitment throughout the manufacturing process.

Block printing is an artisanal technique that accentuates the "colouring" effect, giving the item an imperfect look. Pieces are illustrated with patterns drawn in three ranges of bright colours by Table's Caroline and Alice in their Marseille workshop. The designs are inspired by elementary geometric shapes: stripes, checks and polka dots.
